Suzy's Cream Cheesecakes

PROJECT GOALS:

In their former 10,000 square foot facility, employees of Suzy’s Cream Cheesecakes were so short on space that they worked three shifts per day, seven days a week at times, and shared limited equipment and space, just to keep up with demand.

Consolidated led the process of remodeling an existing 44,000 SF facility to be the company’s new headquarters. Working within the parameters of an existing building shell, the design incorporated the cooler, freezer, production, and finished product areas Suzy’s needed, as well as room to grow. The project schedule had a “no excuses” occupancy deadline, and project manager and design team kept things running smoothly to hit the target.

Consolidated’s in-house architectural team drew up initial plans that incorporated everything they were looking for presently. Value engineering throughout the process offered an opportunity enhance these features
even further. For those items on their future wish list, the designers explained how additional features could be added, suggested sequencing, and what costs were associated.

Consolidated led us through the process of remodeling an existing facility to be the site of our new headquarters. While we were working within the parameters of an existing building shell, their design incorporated all the cooler, freezer, production and finished product areas that we needed, as well as room to grow. Our schedule had a “no excuses” occupancy deadline, and Jeremy and Curt kept things running smoothly to hit our target. Even our subcontractors have told me what a smooth project this was. I’m an advocate and will be using Consolidated when we’re ready to grow again.
