Central Storage & Warehouse – Caledonia Expansion
Just ten months after breaking ground, Central Storage & Warehouse (CSW) proudly celebrated the grand opening of their fourth expansion at the Caledonia location. The new 106,453-square-foot addition boosts CSW’s cold storage capacity with 15,000 pallet positions in a state-of-the-art freezer and introduces an additional loading dock featuring 13 dock doors to streamline operations.
Beyond increased storage, the project enhances CSW’s operational workflow and employee experience with new driver check-in areas, private offices, a boardroom, locker rooms, and a dedicated staff break room.
This expansion marks the 19th project between CSW and Consolidated Construction Co., Inc., reflecting a trusted 15-year partnership. At 55 feet tall, it stands as Consolidated’s tallest cold storage facility to date. A standout feature of the project lies beneath the surface—an advanced fire suppression system supported by underground tanks capable of holding over 500,000 gallons of reserve water, ensuring robust safety and compliance.
