Curtis Schroeder, AIA, NCARB

Senior Vice President of Architecture & Design

Biography

Curtis, our Senior Vice President of Architecture & Design, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s School of Architecture, where he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. After a brief internship working with GE Medical Systems, he began his professional career in Milwaukee by moving directly into an architectural management role. While great designers are rare, more so are those who can design and interact effectively with clients to listen, educate, and collaborate.

With more than twenty-five years of professional experience in the discipline of architecture, Curtis brings a great variety of expertise to Consolidated, having designed commercial projects ranging from manufacturing, office buildings, and multi-family housing projects to user specific facilities, health care, and institutional projects. His client testimonials are a testament to both his design ingenuity and spirit of collaboration.

Having received his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional designation, Curtis seeks to integrate some form of sustainability in all projects; it’s good business practice and good for the earth. However, he remains cognizant of financial practicality and return on investment. He shares the Consolidated Construction philosophy that design should always be in sync with budget.
