Tri Energy Cooperative’s Expressway store in Bismarck, ND underwent a major addition-renovation project to modernize their customer experience and enhance their employee amenities. Along with a fresh new aesthetic, the location now offers a new dedicated beer sales area, a new reach-in cooler, a fully updated checkout area, and a fully stocked bait hub, which is ready to reel in the passionate anglers of North Dakota.
The 1,500-square-foot addition provides Tri Energy Cooperative with essential back-of-house space that the store lacked prior, including a manager’s office, staff restroom, break room, and storage area. This addition will support smoother operations and provide the dedicated staff with their own areas.
Despite the scale of the work, the store remained open for customers for all but five days. With a total footprint of more than 9,500 square feet after the addition, the refreshed store aligns with Tri Energy’s commitment to offer convenience, quality, and friendly service.
Project Highlights:
- 1,500 SF addition created much-needed staff amenities, including a private restroom, break room, storage area, and new manager’s office.
- Complete interior overhaul featured new flooring throughout, a revamped checkout area, and updated retail fixtures.
- Creative space reuse turned the former office into a bait room to better serve the area’s thriving fishing community.
- Minimal disruption: The store remained open for all but five days during construction.
