Consolidated for a Cause Fundraiser 2024 - Honor Flight Network

(April 4, 2024) Appleton, WI – Consolidated Construction Co., Inc. hosted its annual “Consolidated for a Cause” event on Friday, March 8th. The fundraiser brought together Consolidated Construction employees at the Hilton Paper Valley Hotel and Convention Center in Appleton, WI. The event was a success, as the attendees and sponsors raised $18,337 for the Honor Flight Network, which will be evenly split between three Honor Flight hubs: Old Glory Honor Flight (Appleton, WI), Midwest Honor Flight (South Dakota), and Western ND Honor Flight (Bismarck, North Dakota). Each location received $6,112.

The Honor Flight network is a nonprofit organization that honors American Veterans by providing them with a trip to Washington D.C to visit the military memorials. “We are thrilled to receive such a generous gift from Consolidated Construction Company,” exclaimed Diane MacDonald, Executive Director of the Old Glory Honor Flight. “They are a wonderful example of how our community can rally behind a cause and make a big impact. Because of their hard work and dedication to our local veterans, the team at Consolidated will send twelve veterans from Northeast Wisconsin on a future honor flight. Simply amazing!”

“We are proud to have team members that are so motivated to give generously to their community,” acknowledged Michelle Rueckl, the VP of Human Resources at Consolidated Construction. “Our staff saw a great opportunity to come together to make a true difference for veterans, and they certainly made it happen,” Rueckl continued. “Through their generous donations and above-and-beyond effort to gather outside support, they far surpassed our initial goal in mind. I am thankful to work with such great people.”
