9/2017 Construction To Begin on Spokane Sleep Inn-MainStay Combo Hotel
Consolidated Construction Co. Inc., a full service design/build firm headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin announces that it has begun site preparation for a new hotel in Spokane, Wash.
Consolidated Construction is demolishing the former Starlite Motel at 3809 S. Geiger Blvd. and will build a new Sleep Inn & MainStay Suites dual brand hotel by Choice Hotels on the site. When completed the 3-story hotel will feature 87 guest rooms in 51,000 square feet and will include an indoor pool, exercise facilities, single lobby, community room, guest laundry and marketplace.
H&H Hospitality of Spokane is the hotel owner and Lighthouse Hospitality Group will oversee operation of the hotel.
Demolition is expected to be complete and construction is set to begin in October. The project is scheduled to finish by the end of July, 2018 with the hotel’s grand opening in August. The project manager is Rick Davenport and site superintendent is Steve Kynast.
