3/2017 Stewart named to Bismarck-Mandan Development Association Board
The Bismarck-Mandan Development Association (BMDA) has named TJ Stewart of Consolidated Construction Co., Inc. to its board of directors. Brian Ritter, president and CEO of BMDA, announced the appointment March 7 in the organization’s weekly e-newsletter, BMDA Highlights.
The Bismarck-Mandan Development Association (BMDA) is a not-for-profit 501(c)6 public-private partnership. Formed in 1980 as the Bismarck Development Association, the organization first focused on the revitalization and redevelopment of downtown Bismarck. The scope of the BMDA grew as the City of Bismarck, Burleigh County, the City of Mandan, and Morton County partnered with the organization to provide economic development to the two-county area.
Stewart is strategic accounts manager for Consolidated Construction Company’s western region, including the Dakotas. He is responsible for developing, growing and maintaining new and current business relationships for commercial, industrial and multi-family residential customers. Stewart has over 22 years of experience in business operations, leadership and business development and is a degreed Chemical Engineer. Previously, he held positions with a local geotechnical firm and process engineering firm.
Established in North Dakota in 1950, Consolidated Construction provides its customers with a continuum of project delivery services, including economic development. “As a frequent host to potential new businesses in the area, I’m passionate about sharing all that Bismarck-Mandan has to offer economically,” Stewart said. “As a long-term resident, I’m also an advocate for sharing our region’s personality and culture. Being on the board of BMDA will give me the opportunity to share that passion even further.”
