12/2016 Consolidated Construction Announces Promotions
Consolidated Construction Co. Inc., a full-service design/build firm headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, announces the promotion of Brian Gebauer to project director and Mary Roellchen to controller within its rapidly growing team.
Gebauer’s promotion to project director is a result of the success he has achieved over the last 11 years at Consolidated Construction. In his new role, Gebauer is now responsible for the performance and financial operations of his unit’s projects, developing preliminary projects, and coordinating the development and maintenance of all project budgets.
“I’ve worked alongside my team for years, and they are a motivated, multi-talented group,” Gebauer said. “I’m confident that we will continue to deliver high-quality projects on time and under budget. The transition will be smooth. We’re at the top of our game out of the gate.”
As a Michigan State graduate, Gebauer began his career with Irish Construction Company, where he sharpened his skills as a superintendent and project manager while gaining field experience.
Gebauer’s recent projects, each totaling more than $10 million, include Werner Electric Supply, Gold’s Gym, multiple hotels, and WinnPrairie Assisted Living. His projects have received several state awards, and his Gold’s Gym project located in downtown Milwaukee received a national award for excellence in construction.
As controller, Roellchen will lead the Consolidated Construction accounting team while managing the strategic financial plan for the company. Her role has become more involved and complex as the company has grown.
Formerly an accounting manager, Roellchen joined Consolidated Construction in 2006 as a senior accountant. She has more than 25 years of experience in accounting roles, and has focused on the construction industry for more than 10.
“I have learned a lot about the construction industry since I began my time with Consolidated Construction,” Roellchen said. “Now, we are executing an exciting strategy and I am well situated to put those years of industry knowledge to work with a disciplined approach to cost control and driving company value.”
Roellchen has a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and is currently working toward a CFMA Certification from the Construction Financial Management Association.
