12/2015 Hampton Inn Downtown Green Bay Receives Mayor’s Beautification Award
Appleton, WI (November 23) – Consolidated Construction Co. Inc., a full-service design/build firm with offices in Appleton and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is proud to announce the Hampton Inn downtown Green Bay earned the 46th Annual Mayor’s Beautification Award.
Originally opened as a Holiday Inn in 1974 and later a Clarion hotel, the building required a complete gutting, mold remediation, and upgrades of its structure, mechanicals, life safety and exterior. Following building improvements, the contractor also completed all remodeling necessary to rebrand the property as a Hampton Inn. The like-new hotel features 135 rooms, free Wi-Fi, business center, indoor pool, and fitness center, reflecting the brand’s new “Forever Young” prototype. The seven-story hotel now connects to the recently expanded KI Convention Center with an additional structural connector link.
Consolidated Construction was contracted with American Hospitality Management to renovate the hotel.
The hotel re-opened for travelers this September after being closed for 14 months. It is conveniently located on the heart of downtown Green Bay at 201 Main Street, on the Fox River and five miles from Lambeau Field.
