Nearly an hour after the weigh-in for UFC Live on Versus 5, Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White was still signing autographs at the Harley-Davidson Museum on Saturday.

Dressed in a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers, White fit right in with the UFC fans who called his name, asked him to pose for photos and thanked him for bringing the premier mixed martial arts promotion company to Milwaukee.

UFC Live at the Bradley Center on Sunday night marks the UFC’s first visit to Wisconsin. With the fight card still 24 hours away, White sounded as if he were ready to book a return engagement.

“Every single experience I’ve had here has been awesome,” he said. “I’d love to come back here.”

White said he had spent time at Potawatomi Casino, visited the State Fair and planned to tour the Harley-Davidson Museum.

“This is my first time in Milwaukee,” he said. “Not only are the people great, but this is a cool city. I’ve had a blast here.”

White, a fitness fanatic, worked out at the Gold’s Gym downtown and declared it, “not only the best Gold’s Gym I’ve ever been to anywhere, but one of the top three gyms in the world. Believe me, I’ve been to all of them.” . . .
