When the full-service Holiday Inn in Bismarck was originally bid, it was a new prototype that came in more than $1.5 million over the developer’s budget. Consolidated Construction led the charge to re-evaluate the design and value engineer savings that made the project feasible. Without sacrificing important brand details and amenities, Consolidated Construction, the project architect, and subcontractors employed out of-the-box thinking. Together they increased the amount of revenue-generating space in the hotel and overcame significant site challenges on this hillside slope.

AWARD WINNING RESULTS2016-national-award2

The Holiday Inn earned the 2015 National Excellence in Construction (EIC) Pyramid Award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) in the commercial building $5 million to $10 million category. This is Consolidated Construction’s fourth national award in the past 10 years.

The Holiday Inn also won IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) 2015 New Development Design Award.  This is given to hotels that are considered the best in class providing exemplary brand design, quality of construction, and attention to detail.

RAVE REVIEW

“We added three hotels to our portfolio in 2015 and chose Consolidated as our partner. With many hotel construction projects under our belt, we have very high standards and expect excellent communication and cooperation from our builder. While managing three of our projects almost simultaneously, their team worked effectively with our architect and maintained project cost transparency throughout. They adapted to our established protocols and the pre‐construction planning process positioned us for a successful and uncomplicated execution.”
