Jim Perras CCM, Partner & Project Director
Jim joined CCC in 2004, and is a majority shareholder of the company.
At CCC, Jim plays a leadership role in project planning, specializing in food and dairy, industrial, hospitality, nonprofit, church, and health care clients. Some of Jim’s achievements at CCC include:
• Creation of Best Practices team, focused on continuing process improvement in the company;
• Business development and project leadership for several major customers;
• Champion of our LEED initiative, applying sustainable design and construction practices to our projects.
Prior to coming to CCC, Jim was employed by the Hoffman Corporation from 1999 until 2004. While there, he held the positions of Team Leader, Appleton Business Unit Leader and Vice President. Some of his achievements while at Hoffman included:
• Exceeded $65 million revenue goal for Appleton Business unit by 12%.
• Participated in strategic planning and implemented strategies for building regional office, increasing contracted backlog and developing predictable sales model.
• Structured new technology consulting business to integrate with project delivery.
• Led team that passed $16.4 million referendum in Dodgeland, WI School District on first attempt – after 18 years and 12 failed referenda by various predecessors.
Jim has also held positions with Bossardt Corporation, E & V, Inc., and CAM, Inc. in Minneapolis, from 1984 through 1999. His career began as a Project Manager, and was Vice President of Operations when he decided to relocate to the Fox Valley. He was active in the Construction Management Association of America, and the Minnesota Construction Management Association where he served as Program/Awards Committee Chair and on the Board of Directors. Jim is a certified Construction Document Technologist (CDT) and was the first Certified Construction Manager (CCM) in the State of Wisconsin. He has successfully delivered over $800 million worth of projects in 8 states throughout his 25 year career.
Jim graduated from Michigan Technological University with a BSCE, Construction Option and has completed a variety of UW Continuing Education classes, as well as the Minnesota Management Academy at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
Jim is an active member of the community and has completed the Leadership Fox Cities program, led planning efforts for the Fox Valley Humane Association Shelter, and served in board positions with the Financial Information and Services Center, Inc. (past) and Valley Academy for the Arts (current). Additionally, he volunteers at St. Margaret Mary Parish, and coaches youth baseball, softball and basketball.
